Psychotherapy.net Video Collection: Consists of over 200 titles of the leading practitioners in the fields of psychotherapy, counseling, social work and addiction treatment demonstrating clinical techniques and discussing their work.
Alexander Street Counseling Collection: Provides a rich online collection of video for the study of counseling, social work, psychotherapy, psychology, and psychiatric counseling.
Alexander Street Ethnographic Video: brings together a wide range of streaming video, written ethnographies, field notes, seminal texts, memoirs, and contemporary studies, covering human behavior the world over. Essential for study in the areas of politics, economics, history, psychology, environmental studies, religion, area studies, linguistics, and geography.
Alexander Street Social Theory: Social Theory offers an extensive selection of documents that explore the complexities and interpret the nature of social behavior and organization. Particular care has been taken to index this material so that it can be searched more thoroughly than ever before.
Alexander Street Education in Video: the first online collection of streaming video developed specifically for training and developing teachers. Upon completion, the collection will contain more than 3,000 video titles totaling 1,300 hours of teaching demonstrations, lectures, documentaries, and primary-source footage of students and teachers in actual classrooms.
The Chicago School of Professional Psychology Library provides faculty with the option to convert certain DVDs in our collection to streaming video so that students may access the films online. Faculty can request to have entire videos streamed or just video clips.
Please allow three weeks for library staff to process your streaming video requests. If we need to purchase a copy of the film, please allow up to six weeks. To request streaming video, complete a Streaming Video Request Form and email it to email@example.com or drop it off at the library circulation desk.
